OMG! MBZ Welcomed Khabib To The Royal Palace And Posed With The Famous Papakha
Another bucket list moment for Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Khabib has just been crowned the undisputed lightweight World Champion after beating Dustin Poirier in the UFC 242 and in the post-match glory haze he was invited to the royal Abu Dhabi Royal Palace by HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
What a moment!
MBZ warmly welcomed Khabib at Qasr Al Bahr on Monday
Khabib also greeted other dignitaries during his palace visit
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed congratulated Khabib on winning the UFC in Abu Dhabi and wished him further success and achievements in the coming competitions
HH also took the time to take some pics with Khabib’s trainer and team.
MBZ was even seen holding Khabib’s famous papakha
Khabib is frequently seeing wearing the papakha at weigh-ins, and pre-and-post fights. The papakha is a woolly hat s traditionally worn by men in a region of Eastern Europe and Western Asia called the Caucasus.
