Avatar

How ANYONE keeps track of the busiest event season in Dubai, we do not know.

Between now and the end of the year, there a number of world-class events happening here in the UAE and this list lists them all… You’re most welcome!

Start planning your schedule now, here are seven big events you can attend in the UAE before the end of the year

7. Dubai Fitness Challenge, until November 16

The sheer organisation that goes into an event like this is something else. You can get FREE classes every single day across the city for an entire month, (so ditch that gym membership!) with fitness hubs, in a massive attempt to rally residents into becoming the world’s most active city.

30 minutes, for 30 days…Dust off those runners Dubai!

4. F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, November 28 – December 1

The Abu Dhabi GP is nigh, which means the capital is gearing up (I’ll race you to find a weaker pun) to host one of the season ‘s biggest sporting events.

It’s got fast cars that make loud noises, it’s got mega celeb-spotting, it’s got the after-race concerts (Lana Del Ray, The Killers,Marshmello and Travis Scott) – Abu Dhabi is a pretty fantastic place to be on race weekend, don’t miss it.

4. Sole DXB, 5 6 + 7 December

Sole is back and this year, the line-up is brilllllllo. The homegrown festival that began as a tribute to what was then a humble trainer culture, has grown into an alternative and very cool music and fashion festival.

Burna Boy, Wu-Tang Clan, Koffee, Wiley, Black Star, Dave East, Proteje, YBN Cordae, Rico Nasty and a couple of local artists are down to perform this year, get your tickets and more info here now.

3. Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, December 5 – 7

The Rugby Sevens is a series of international sevens tournaments, where teams from around the world meet for seven-a-side rugby. But in Dubai, it has grown into so much more than a simple tournament… Catering to all ages, this year watch out for the food villages, the play areas, and OF COURSE Ms Kylie Minogue who’s performing on the Friday.

The theme this year is the seventies, don’t forget your costume!

An event for all the family, don’t miss all the action off the court, with player Q&A sessions, meet and greets, and even training sessions, which is a huge draw for tennis fans!
