During a visit of a UAE delegation to the Vatican, Pope Francis fondly remembered his trip to the UAE and praised the country’s approach that enhances the pillars of tolerance, coexistence and peace.
The Head of the Catholic Church told the delegation he had good memories of his visit to the country last February and added that the UAE is a role model of coexistence and human fraternity and represents a meeting place among various civilisations and cultures. He said he looks forward to spreading and establishing the culture of peace, tolerance and coexistence in the world and building bridges of communication among various religions and cultures, according to a Wam.ae report.

The UAE works to strengthen its values of tolerance
A member of the delegation told Pope Francis how the UAE works continuously in strengthening its values of tolerance and the efforts of the Emirati organisations to spread and boost dialogue, acceptance of others, and openness to various cultures at local, regional and international avenues.
Always mazing to see world religions publicly working towards building bridges of communication, an idea that’s championed by the UAE.
