The First Emirati Astronaut Is All Set For The Mock Mission Happening Today

The official launch to the International Space Station (ISS) is on September 25, and before that UAE’s first Emirati Astronaut Hazza, along with Sultan Al Neyadi are expected to be prepared for their mandatory mock mission today.

Sounds exciting doesn’t it? To be making your way through space.

But it’s not all that simple.

The mock mission is a two-day final exam for astronauts before they can initiate the actual mission.

The two astronauts are currently in Moscow at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre prepping for one of the greatest mission to the ISS on September 25, 2019

Hazza will be alongside crewmates Nasa astronaut Jessica Meir and Russian commander Oleg Skripochka for the trip
