This Is HUGE!! Tourists Coming To Dubai Can Now Avoid Quarantine All Together

Tourists landing in Dubai are now able to skip quarantine or isolation by having a clearance Covid-19 negative certificate issued from their departed country. The issuance of this certificate must no longer be 96 hours before traveling.

However, those who do not have a Covid-19 negative certificate will have to take the PCR test at the Dubai Airport upon arrival, followed by self-isolation until they receive their results.

The UAE Government has said that after waiting in self-isolation to receive the test results and the outcome is a negative result, then they can back to normal by being able to leave the hotel and enjoy their trip.

Although, if the result comes back as a positive, then they are asked to follow the protocols of the Dubai Health Authority by self-isolating.

Hold on! There are more requirements as well

  • Every tourist must travel with insurance which includes Covid-19 cover, otherwise declare that the costs for treatment and isolation will be their responsibility if needed.
  • Every tourist MUST have a visa, depending on your nationality.
  • The Health Declaration Form has to be completed by the tourists while clearly indicating that they do not have any Covid-19 symptoms.
  • It is told to tourists that they must download the Covid-19 Tracing app and register their details.

What if a tourist has Covid-19?

  • If the case arises that the traveler is thought to have Covid-19 symptoms then the Dubai Airport has the right to get them tested to make sure the tourist does not have the virus.
  • It is absolutely necessary for the tourists with Covid-19 positive to keep themselves under isolation at a government provided institutional facility for 14 days bearing at their own expense.
