Two People Tragically Killed and 12 Others Injured In Bus Accident On Sheikh Zayed Road

Two people have died and 12 are injured in a traffic accident on Sheikh Zayed Road on Sunday morning.
According to Dubai Police, a 14-seater minibus engulfed in flames after it collided and crashed into a cement barrier on Al Manara Bridge.
The Director of Dubai Traffic Police, Brigadier Saif Mehir Al-Mazaroui said the Command and Control Centre received a report at around 8:30 am of a traffic accident and collision on Sheikh Zayed Street, heading towards Jebal Ali at the Lighthouse Bridge.
Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei also added that a team of traffic experts immediately arrived at the site of the accident and collected evidence.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident and took the injured to Rashid Hospital, where they are currently seeking treatment.
The police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
The brigadier advised motorists to abide by legal speed limits and to avoid distractions while on the road.
