Out Of No Where Dubai World Central Is On The Way To Hit A Million Passengers
Dubai World Central airport, DWC, has experienced a surge in traffic in the first quarter of 2017, likely thanks in part to increased flights departing to Doha.
The airport saw a growth of 29.5% in year-on-year growth from 2016.
Passenger numbers went up to 333,780 from 257,813.
Dubai Airports CEO, Paul Griffiths said the company expects to see DWC hit 1 million during 2017
“DWC is starting to make its mark as an emerging regional hub. We expect to surpass the 1 million passenger mark for the first time this year with 1.1 million expected to use the airport in 2017.”
