A MASSIVE New Department Store Has Opened At Dubai Festival City And It Is Intense

Besides having a penchant for the superlatives, Dubai’s retail scene is always full of surprises and good ones at that. 

On March 28, Al Futtaim Group in a joint venture with CHALHOUB welcomed the debut opening for the Singapore-headquartered 150-year-old department store Robinsons, the largest department store in the UAE at Dubai Festival City.

It’s ultra-luxe

“This is a store especially designed for the Emirati customers who want to experience shopping in a homely atmosphere.”

It is hosting 90 brands that are new to the region…

And the store spans over 200,000sqf; housing 600 brands 

And for those who appreciate antiquities, there is a dedicated exhibition, Sultani…Traditions Renewed, that hosts 18 gowns on display, and explores the traditional dress of the UAE women as it has evolved through several stages of change from 1966 – 2004.
