Flights From Tunisia To Dubai Will Resume After Security Concerns Have Been Resolved
Two weeks ago Emirates announced that it was stoping all of its flights between Dubai and Tunisia due to possible security concerns.
In December several Tunisian women were banned from boarding a Dubai bound Emirates flight amid security fears.
Following this the Tunisian authorities instructed Emirates to stop all flights from Tunis and Dubai beginning on December 25.

The issue has now been resolved following joint cooperation between the UAE and Tunisian authorites
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has stated that flights will resume between the two countries following ‘extensive security communication’.
Joint measures have been taken to ease the UAE’s previous security concerns and in a statement released by the state news agency WAM, “the competent authorities in the UAE have decided that the standard processes will be reinstated to their normal state before the unforeseen circumstances.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs acknowledged “the information provided by the Tunisian side and their keenness to address all sources of concern for the UAE’s national carriers” and highlighted that the security and safety of all passengers is of the utmost importance.
