For The First Time Ever Societe Is Serving Food And No One Is Sure How To Feel About It

Staple of Dubai’s party scene at 2am, Societe has undergone a makeover and is now serving up food for the first time. 

The retro club, which is famed for its cheesy tunes, may soon be famed for its cheesy pizzas too, because it’s dishing out sliders and pizzas to patrons starting Thursday. 

It’s unclear how well this will go, as it’s err, not your typical fine-dining outlet, but may be handy for those falling into the club after a wild night out. 

This could be a great idea, filling a niche and taking a bit of business off Bob’s Fish and Chips across the road…though could also be a bit of a recipe for disaster – all will become clear in the coming weeks. 

It has also renovated the interior with a whole new look 

But don’t worry – the same tunes will be rocking. There’s a new bar that has been built for ‘moonshine shots’ for AED10 to make sure you’re having a REAL good night. 

There are new improved smoke extractors in the club too, which Societe has issued a statement on – saying if anyone leaves the club smelling of smoke, they will pay for your clothes to be dry-cleaned. 

Somewhat hard to believe given the notorious smokiness of the club, this would be an impressive feat! 

The club opens again for business on Thursday.
