There Is Another Restaurant Beside Nusr-Et That’s Just As Good Minus Salt Bae

Avatar

When the Four Seasons opened a few years ago, there were three restaurants opposite, Coya, Nusret and Jean Georges. Coya became well known and popular almost immediately, then Nusret achieved global fame with it’s Salt Bae owner. However, remaining under the radar is Jeans Georges. It’s a stunning location, with an outdoor garden like terrace and large indoor restaurant as well. This is definitely on the higher end of expensive restaurants, but one that matches in price with what they offer in terms of quality and service. So, when you might ring up to book Nusret and they are sold out, don’t hesitate in opting for JG next door.

Jean Georges has a star of it’s own

Jean-Georges Vongerichten is one of the world’s most famous chefs,. He has 3 and 4 star restaurants, written many cook books, appeared on TV programes around the world and has opened a number of new restaurants including The Inn at Pound Ridge by Jean-Georges, ABC Kitchen, ABC Cocina, Simply Chicken at Madison Square Garden, The Pump Room in The Public Chicago and Eden Rock in St. Barths. Most recently, Jean-Georges ventured to Roppongi Hills to open JG Tokyo, a 13-course Omakase Kaiseki experience in a 14 counter seat setting, also featuring a la carte dining in the upstairs lounge.

So Leo didn’t eat there last week, but other stars did…
