This Fine-Dining French Restaurant Is Letting Diners Pay What They Think The Food Is Worth

Imagine only paying what you think food is worth – rather than having predetermined prices that are rather high… 

Well one French restaurant is doing just that, and allowing customers to simply pay for what they think it’s worth for their meal. 

Bord Eau, the French fine-dining resto in Abu Dhabi’s Shangri La Souk Qaryat Al Beri is offering this service from Sunday-Wednesday. 

You can indulge in fine French cuisine – this restaurant has won quite a few culinary awards – and at the end, pay up. 

Oh, and it’s all served up under the sharp eye of two-Michelin-starred chef, Mansour Memarian.

The conditions are: 

It has to be between 6.30-8.30pm

It’s a minimum of AED100 – which includes the three courses. 

That’s still pretty reasonable since a blind-tasting at Bord Eau alone is AED500++…
