The ‘Hatta Hiking Project’ Has Just Been Finished And It Looks Awesome!
The’ Hatta Hiking project’, part of a plan to boost tourism activity in the region is nearing completion.
The first phase, which has just been completed, covers a 9km trail and has been designed in an eco-friendly way to blend into the surrounding landscape.
‘City Hiking’ is the first phase, it will give tourists the opportunity to get to know the region
It links key tourist attractions in the area including Hatta Biking track, Hatta Kayak, Hatta Heritage Village, the three dams and Al Tala Park. It finishes at the Hatta Dam, where the next phase will eventually start from.
We are proud that Dubai Municipality has contributed to enhancing the infrastructure of Hatta through a number of projects that will have a positive impact on the area, as part of the Hatta Comprehensive Development Plan launched recently by Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.”

People of all hiking abilities will have a chance to get to know different parts of the trail
The first part of the hike is 3km of flat land, and from there there are three other levels of difficulty, beginners, experienced hikers and disabled people are catered for.
