There’s An Event In Dubai To Help Stressed People And It’s Totally Free

Move For Your Mind is a campaign that aims to promote the well-being of students and others, both mentally and physically.

 Graduating media students at Middlesex University in Dubai have organised a couple of activities open to anyone for free in Knowledge Village on the 28th of March. 

The event will raise awareness and ties in with The Year of Giving

The campaign students feel it’s a unique way of giving back to the community, as with The Year of Giving, by providing people who undergo stress (overt or covertly) the understanding and awareness of how they can #movefortheirminds

Why you should go?

We all often tend to focus on our physical health. But what about our mental health? We all have that too, and just like physical health, some days it is good, some days not so good! Move for your Mind’s primary objective is a focus on wellbeing and advocating healthy minds and healthy lifestyles.

You can join in on a Stretch & Talk and Bodyweight Session with callisthenics coach Nesa Rassouli

Certified instructor, Nesa Rasouli, who also coaches callisthenics at Fit Inc. will join the campaign with a Stretch & Talk session as well as a basic Bodyweight Session to get you moving. 

Stretch and Talk (Nesa): 11am-12pm

Body weight session (Nesa) 12:30pm-1pm

Place: Knowledge Village Block 16

Date: March 28th, 2017, Tuesday 

Music sessions, art, guest lectures and other activities 

Apart from learning more about issues that concern most people through guest speakers, art spaces at the ready to those wishing to be part of the cause and a surprise musical performance.
