Instagram Has Just Launched A Game-Changing App And The Region’s Biggest Names Are Already Involved
You’ve got Facebook, you’ve got Instagram, you’ve (maybe) got Snapchat…but what’s next?
That question has just been answered by Instagram, who on Wednesday launched a new app.
Instagram (the photo and video sharing platform which has just surpassed an incredible one BILLION users) launched IGTV.
An app that allows users to watch longform videos that last for up to an hour.
IGTV is already available in the App Store and some of the Instagram’s top users are already involved
Huda Kattan, Kris Fade, Shereen Mitwalli, Kim Kardashian, Chris Hemsworth, Beyonce and David Beckham to name a few…
IGTV is built into the Instagram app, it will start playing immediately once you enter IG, and we reckon this will be taking lots of your screen time for the foreseeable future.

The announcement was made in San Francisco on Wednesday

Creators will need to adjust to the new vertical dimensions
I’m not sure we can do our show using the dimensions needed for the newly announced InstagramTV or #IGTV pic.twitter.com/qimt9icObV

But with big names already involved, it shouldn’t take long….
The entire @shots team will have shows launching on #IGTV this week. I’m so proud of our team and the @instagram team!!! My first show is a cooking show!! ????????????
