The team down at the Expo have put together a soulful rendition of the UAE National Anthem, ‘Ishy Balady’ featuring musicians from around the world in order to commemorate the UAE’s 48th national day.
The 55-second composition of ‘Ishy Balady’, was performed in Dubai, Moscow, India, Norway, London, Shanghai and Nigeria
The stunning backdrops of the Taj Mahal in India, Tower Bridge in London and the Trondheim Fjord in Norway have added to the magic of the special montage.
Also, to add a cherry on the top, schoolchildren from Raffles World Academy lent their PERFECTLY harmonious and synchronized vocals to the rendition of the UAE National Anthem.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces’s tweet translates to:

Another record has officially been broken by Dubai for the UAE’s national day
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, United Arab Emirates shared a video of Dubai setting a new World Record for the largest flag flown in free fall measuring 144.28 m² marking the UAE’s 48th National Day in style.
