The SIKKA Art Fair Kicked Off Today And Here’s Everything You Need to Know
Dubai Food Festival comes to an end today and it’s fair to say we’re a little disappointed. An entire festival celebrating food?! It’s the best! But worry not dear friends, because hot on the heels of Dubai’s annual food festival comes Dubai Art Season 2017, Dubai’s annual art festival, and with it there are plenty of events and activities to keep us entertained in the coming week.
The SIKKA Art fair kicked off today
Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), was on hand today to inaugurate the seventh edition of SIKKA Art Fair 2017 the Dubai Culture’s flagship initiative under the Dubai Art Season umbrella. Anyone lucky to have been at the first day of the event today may also have been caught a glimpse of Her Excellency Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness.

The events runs from the 11th to 21st March 2017 and is based in Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood in Bur Dubai. the SIKKA Art Fair showcases GCC, Emirati and UAE-based artists through a range of exciting exhibitions, workshops, recitals and improvisational performances that take place across the city, with new initiatives for 2017 including ‘SIKKA Around the City’ and ‘SIKKA Art Bus.
