While one sports journo brought out some facts
While definitely an upset, #Jordan‘s victory over #Australia isn’t exactly the shock of shocks…
They’ve beaten #Socceroos in past two World Cup qualifying campaigns & ended their Olympic hopes in 2016 too.#كأس_اسيا #AsianCup2019 #AUSvJOR #الاردن_استراليا ⚽️???????????????? pic.twitter.com/hrexoN8Qla

A hashtag is now trending in Australia to fire the Socceroos coach, Graham Arnold
#ArnoldOut is trending on Aussie twitter
#ARNOLDOUT Is trending after only 87 mins. To be fair it may have been earlier but I only just checked Twitter.

Meanwhile some are just annoyed they couldn’t even watch the game
#AUSvJOR @SoccerAustrali1 To all Aussie soccer fans. What a sad state of affairs that you cannot watch your national team The Socceroos, play in the Asian Cup, without having a private TV subscription. It is a National Disgrace! @Socceroos
