Fans Go Wild In Oman After Winning The Gulf Cup As Part Of The Stadium Collapses
The Gulf Cup almost didn’t happen, until the location was moved to Kuwait. It was the first tournament for new UAE head coach Alberto Zaccheronihaving taken over late last year after the team failed to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
There was great excitement leading up to the final last night between two neighbors, Oman and the UAE.
For the second game in a row, there were no goals after 120 minutes of action
This time however, unlike the semi-final, the UAE missed out on penalties
Omar had missed a penalty during the game to win it for the UAE
