It Looks Like A Billionaire Emirati Sheikh Is About To Buy The Newcastle United Football Team
International media is reporting that Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nahyan is close to finalising the purchase of Newcastle United football team for a cool AED1.6 billion (350 million pounds sterling).
The contracts between the seller Mike Ashley and the Abu Dhabi billionaire Sheikh have already been signed and submitted to the Premier League for approval, with reports suggesting the deal is nearly done and dusted.
Sheikh Khalid is cousin to Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the owner of Man City who had a huge season this year.
