Tennis Ace Serena Williams’s Comeback Just Four Months After Giving Birth Will Be In The UAE
Just four months after giving birth, Serena Williams will return to the courtĀ in the UAE.
TheĀ Mubadala World Tennis Championship is happening this week on Saturday, December 30 in Abu Dhabi, and the 36-year-old new mom will play against French open champion Jelena Ostapenko in the exhibition match.
They will be the first women to compete in the event
It will be the first timeĀ a womenās tennis match will be played at Mubadala, and there couldn’t be a more fitting match!Ā
TheĀ showdown between the two Grand Slam champions is all set to take place at 5 pm at Zayed Sports City.

In a statement, which was released on Sunday, Serena expressed her joy in returning to action.Ā
āI am delighted to be returning to the court in Abu Dhabi for the first time since the birth of my daughter in September.Ā The Mubadala World Tennis Championship has long marked the beginning of the menās global tennis season and I am excited and honoured to be making my comeback as part of the first women to participate in the event. I look forward to seeing the fans in Abu Dhabi at the 10th edition of the Championship very soon.
