A New UAE App Will Easily Determine Whether Online Products Are Knock-Offs Or Originals
A soon-to-be released app called Montaji, created by the Dubai government, is a stroke of pure genius.
Because if you’ve ever been duped by fake products online, you’ll know how friggin’ annoying it can be.
The system will be available online atĀ www.dm.gov.ae or on an app with the same name.

Khalid Mohammad Sharif Al Awadhi, assistant director general for Environment, Health and Safety Control Sector released the news on Monday, according to local reports.
The system will mean a smooth and honest flow of trade, which residents will be thankful for.
Consumer safety products to be sold in the emirate will need to register on the app. When making a purchase, residents will enter the barcode of the product to check authenticity.Ā
