WhatsApp Has Rolled Out Its Most Important Feature And It’s Going To Make You SUPER Happy
Whether it’s a late night drunk text to an ex or inappropriate messages sent to family or work groups by accident—when it comes to sending embarrassing WhatsApp to wrong people, we’ve all been there, done that!
And there was no coming back from after you hit that send button, until now!
WhatsApp, who has been working on this for over a year, has rolled out its best feature till date—’Delete for Everyone’ that allows everyone to ‘unsend’ their messages in case they have been sent to wrong person or a group.
You can only delete messages for up to seven minutes after sending
In its updated FAQ, WhatsApp said, “once seven minutes have passed, there is no way to delete messages for everyone.”
The statement further said, “In order for messages to be successfully deleted for everyone, both you and your recipient must be using the latest version of WhatsApp for Android, iPhone or Windows Phone.”
Once deleted, the messages will be replaced with ‘This message was deleted’ box in your chats
The feature is being slowly rolled out and you can reinstall WhatsApp in order to download the latest configuration.
