Dubai Hotel Prices Are Rapidly Decreasing Making It The Perfect Time To Book One Of These Staycations
Dubai’s hotel industry has seen a downturn, with occupancy rates decreasing by 3.6% this summer, so the average price of a hotel room has come down to AED471.25 per night in July, according to new statistics released by STR.
The decrease in prices have obviously been a great surprise for those planning staycations; prices have just become 11.5% more affordable in comparison to last July.
The decline in price is due to an increase in availability, with occupancy rates across the city averaging at only 65.7%, almost 4% less than the same time the previous year.
STR analysts have stated that the performance of July was affected by Ramadan, and that Dubai has not suffered severe downturn like other MENA regions
