Recently a Lovin Dubai post about Emirates recruitment went viral.

The Dubai based airline announced it was looking to recruit cabin crew on April 13 and April 28. The post stated the role requirements and how to register your interest.

As expected, the article drew A LOT of attention.

It turns out the day was simply an opportunity for people to drop their CVs, and people turned up in their thousands hoping to nab one of the coveted Emirates position.

A Facebook user posted this insane video

According to one resident who turned up at 8am...

"People had been camping out since 3am. There were thousands in total. I reached at 8.40am, there were 500 people already waiting at that time. We waited until 10.30am but were eventually asked to leave. Not even half the people had a chance to drop their CVs."

The reaction online was the same across the board

And a shout out to the serious commitment from everyone involved

People were told to come back for the next open day on April 28

Expect a queue
