More Than Half Of UAE Residents DO NOT Get Insurance For When They’re Travelling

More than 60% of UAE residents confirmed they don’t get insurance for travelling, according to a new study. 

The survey, hosted by Yallacompare, found that more than 60% of residents don’t bother with travel insurance, despite 38% of residents experiencing a ‘travel related incident’. 

Of the 60% – 35% said they assume they should purchase it but never get around to it, while 30% said they don’t see the point in getting travel insurance. The other 13.6% said it is too expensive, and 6.1% said it’s too difficult to arrange. 

Within the data, the study found 76% travel outside of the UAE twice per year.
