Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank U, Next’ song came out in November and has been the talk of the town ever since for many reasons, but mostly for the fact that the OG Mean Girl Lindsay Lohan wasn’t asked to make an appearance in the music video.
She initially gave her verdict about the video in a rather salty, but now-deleted IG post
“Behind the scenes – ain’t nobody Lindsay Lohan like the real Lindsay Lohan. But so flattered by @arianagrande loving #MeanGirls so much! Also, I love #dynasty.”

However, in a recent interview with Jenny McCarthy’s SiriusXM show, the Dubai resident called the music video “great” and revealed the reason why she thinks Grande’s team didn’t get in touch with her to make a cameo in the video.
And she delivered one of the best excuses to ever exist:
“They probably couldn’t get in touch with me, I guess. I don’t know. It’s not that easy to just fly in from Dubai.”
NO KIDDING. She legit used Dubai as an excuse of her absence. We’re deceased….
