A Huge Number Of UAE Residents Are Shifting Towards Online Streaming Services According To A New Study

The UAE and Saudi Arabia are following the global trends towards online streaming services according to a new study. 

The stats, released by YouGov found that UAE residents are rapidly shifting towards online streaming over traditional services. 

The UAE is quickly adopting online services, which has resulted in a drop in traditional music services. A drop of 35% in use of CDs and a decrease of 28% in those tuning in to the radio. 

According to YouGov

“In the past 12 months, 29% of consumers across both countries say they have increased the frequency with which they listen to music using online streaming services.

“This trend is strongest in the UAE, where the figure rises to 35%. By contrast, just 24% of UAE consumers don’t listen to music using online streaming as much as they used to.”
