Over 200 Bicycles Have Been Confiscated As A Result Of Riders Not Abiding By The Law

225 bicycles have been confiscated within this week by the Dubai Traffic Police.

The bicycles that have been seized were a result of riders violating safety conditions and rules that have been previously implemented as to reduce the number of accidents.

A campaign has been initiated as to confiscate all bicycles from riders that were riding in opposite directions, on high speed roads, not on marked areas or when not wearing the required safety equipment. 

The campaign also aims to spread awareness of the importance of following safety rules and regulations
