Tragedy struck among the staff and family members of Dubai restaurateur, Suresh Noojaje, following news of his murder back at his hometown of Thane. 

Noojaje was the proud owner of vegetarian diner Swadist restaurant in Karama.

Unfortunately, the tragic occurrence took place during a short break when assailants broke into his home on Friday night, and beating him to death.

The news has left those familiar to Noojaje heartbroken 

Reports say that the housemaid has discovered the body on Saturday morning, following with a report to the police. 

Originally from Mangaluru, Karanataka, 48-year-old Noojaje was loved by all his family members, peers and colleagues- known for having a ‘big heart’, reports say. The deceased had set up the popular restaurant back in 2004, but employees at Swadist are still in shock. 

The manager of the restaurant had closed on Sunday to pay tributes to Noojaje.

Currently, his body has already been cremated and a traditional ritual is scheduled for the eleventh day.
