A Woman Crashed Her Car On The E311 Just Hours After The Speed Limit Was Reduced
Just three hours after the speed limit on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road was reduced to 110km/h from 120km/h, a woman crashed her jeep and sustained some grave injuries.
She rammed her vehicle into the back of a parked lorry at 3am on Sunday near the Mirdiff City Centre bridge.
The Egyptian woman was said to have been overspeeding

According to Brig Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, director of Traffic Department of Dubai Police, the accident was a major one and was caused for “not keeping a safe distance and overspeeding.”
The Egyptian woman was driving a Jeep when she hit the back of the truck and suffered serious injuries. The truck was parked on the side of the road just two minutes before the accident due to a glitch in the tyre, according to the truck’s driver testimony.
