An Abu Dhabi Man Has Beaten His Wife Trying To Discipline Her

An Emirati national is on trial for beating his wife to death and told the courts he was trying to ‘discipline her’ according to court reports. 

The man reportedly hit and kicked his wife during an argument in their home and the attack was violent that she suffered internal bleeding. 

According to Khaleej Times the accused said: “We had some misunderstandings as a couple and I beat her up lightly, just to discipline her.

“I loved my wife and I didn’t intend to kill her. Though we had some disputes, there is no way I could have done something that ended her life.”
