The Addition Of This New Lane Will Make The Journey Home Much Better

RTA is due to expand Al Khail Road by including another lane as part of their project to decrease traffic congestion around the UAE.

The addition of the new lane is set to be on Al Khail Road towards Sharjah in areas between Meydan Road.

The addition of the fourth lane will be able to host an extra 1,800 vehicles per hour.

“This solution would increase the capacity of the road from 1,500 vehicles per hour to 3,000 vehicles per hour, improving the traffic flow in that direction.”
