A Maid Who Raided Her Employer’s Safe Was Nabbed At DXB Minutes Before Her Flight Was Due To Leave

A maid absconding the country with a whopping AED27,900 of stolen goods was arrested by police.

Incredibly, in under two hours after the theft took place, the police managed to track her down.

Just minutes before her flight was due to leave Dubai International Airport, she was apprehended by Dubai police who were working in conjunction with Ajman Police.

Her Emirati employer reported the theft

Police were alerted to the theft when an Emirati national reported that his safe had been broken into and AED27,900 was missing along with jewellery and electronics.

The maid confessed and has been referred to public prosecution.
