All Those Unpredictable Rainy Days In The UAE Are Finally Explained

There were on going cloud seeding mission that were happening in the UAE in order to cool down the weather and make it a bit more bearable to step outside.

Now there are scientists from the US who are trying out a new process in order to increase rainfall in the region, according to local reports.

The process behind the cloud seeding

The current investigation is happening on the ‘ice production’ in cumulus clouds.

There are tiny ice particles that are formed in these clouds and when they clash with ‘large super-cooled water drops’ they freeze the surrounding drops and this then falls as rain on the ground; according to local reports.

Learjet 35 aircraft is being used to measure the microphysical properties of the cloud.

In order to protect the environment rain isn’t only a requirement  in the UAE but all around the world because of the lack of clean water supply.
