An Indian Expat Is Still Unsure What He Wants To Do With The Island He Just Won From A Dubai Bank

A Dubai resident who is originally from India has won 6 ACRES OF AN ISLAND in the state of Nova Scotia, Canada.

Brendan Lopes who is in his late 20s was awarded the island and AED100,000 cash prize by Liv, a digital-only lifestyle bank by Emirates NBD on Tuesday afternoon in an event that was attended by Dubai’s creme de la creme.

The island that’s the size of FIVE football fields was rewarded to the Indian expat because of his regulatory on the banking app where he collected a number of loyalty points in the duration of the competition campaign. The island is estimated to be worth more than AED300k!

During the event that was hosted by Kris Fade, Brendan announced that he’s still not sure on what to do with the island

He also said that he is super grateful and thankful to the digital banking team for selecting him as the winner. He is further planning on heading down to Nova Scotia and will then decide on what to do with the six-acre island.
