A Man Is On Trial For Throwing A Chair At A Police Officer At Dubai Airport

An Uzbek man is on trial for physically assaulting a Dubai Police officer after losing his temper at Dubai International Airport in May. 

The 26-year-old Uzbek was detained and interrogated at the airport, and subsequently lost his temper, throwing a chair at the officer and then proceeding to punch him, which resulted in cuts on the officer’s head and a bruised nose.

He was in transit

The Uzbek man, who was in Dubai on a 14-hour-transit, was taken into interrogation by the officer who was asking for his personal documents.

The officer was asking the man about his ticket and documents which resulted the man to getting angry and defensive whist they were in the office.

The Uzbek man attacked the officer until another police officer saw what was happening and interjected.
