An Arsonist Has Been Arrested After The Crazy Dubai Outlet Mall Lot Fire

The fire that destroyed 11 cars outside Dubai Outlet Mall was the work of an arsonist.

Dubai Police quickly arrested an Asian man in relation to the incident, it's believed he started the fire following a heated argument. 

Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri, Commander-In-Chief of Dubai Police, praised the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for discovering the identity of the man quickly, before he could flea the country.

The fire started at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon

11 cars were destroyed after an argument between two men, both bus drivers, turned heated. The fire ignited on a bus and the suspect fled the scene immediately, however a swift investigation lead police to believe the fire was started with intent, and to the whereabouts of the man.

The man was found with burns on his body, according to reports.

An investigation into the case is ongoing by the public prosecution.
