Authorities Will Be Cracking Down On Taxi Drivers Stopping In The Middle Of Roads Or Unsafe Areas

The RTA and Dubai Police will be cracking down on taxi drivers stopping in unsafe areas, according to officials.

According to the ARN News Centre, the RTA will working with Dubai Police and issuing fines to taxis that park or stop in unauthorised areas.

Director of Transport Activities Monitoring at RTA’s Public Transport Agency, Abdullah Al Mahri, told ARN that the RTA will be adding more designated safe areas for taxis to stop, and welcomes the public in suggesting difficult areas in the city.
