A survey on the average cost of a taxi journey was created by Carspring, an online platform for the purchase of used cars in the UK, and they looked at factors like the cost per kilometre, the average price from the airport to the city centre, and the cost of waiting times.
80 cities were included in the study…
Overall, Cairo is the cheapest city in the world to catch a cab
Followed by Mumbai, Jakarta, Bucharest, Mexico City.
Dubai ranked 26 overall
With Toyota Corolla as the most common vehicle
Zurich was listed as the most expensive city
