A 36-Year-Old Businessman Stole Cash And Credit Cards From Two Vehicles To Buy Video Games

In today’s most WTH news of the day, a Bangladeshi man was accused of breaking the glasses of two parked cars and stealing cash and credit cards with which he bought video games. Go figure!

The preliminary investigation by the police revealed that a 36-year-old Bangladeshi businessman was responsible for it. 

He was identified after after the CCTV cameras on top of the ATM machine captured his face when he tried to withdraw cash from one of the stolen cards.

An Indian man, who had parked his car in the parking lot behind his residential building, discovered the glass of his vehicle smashed and his wallet stolen.

The same scene was discovered by another Indian driver when he went to start his car in the morning. The accused had stolen AED100 and a Nol card from his car. 

The charge sheet…

As per the charge sheet, the 36-year-old has been accused of stealing four credits cards, two Emirates ID cards, one Nol card with AED85 balance and causing damage worth a total of AED1,000 to both the vehicles. He has also been accused of embezzling AED7,400 by using the cards to purchase video games.

The suspect, however, pleaded not guilty before the Dubai Court of First Instance. The court will proceed with the case on October 2.
