A British Man Is Jailed For Two Years For Using Cocaine In Dubai

A British national has been sentenced to two years in jail for possessing and using cocaine, a Dubai court has found. 

The 37-year-old man was arrested outside a club in Barsha Heights in March after Dubai Police received a tip-off. 

The man was arrested and tested – where traces of cocaine were found in his system. 

He admitted in court to possessing and consuming the drugs and will be deported following his jail term.
