A Man Was Arrested In Rock Bottom For Public Indecency And It’s A Warning To Everyone

A 27-year-old tourist is on trial for public indecency and drinking alcohol without a licence after he was arrested at Rock Bottom three months ago. 

Under UAE law, the consumption of alcohol is illegal unless the person has a valid alcohol licence – an issue many residents and tourists ignore. 

The Scottish man, pictured above, was in the crowded bar, and reportedly touched another male on the hip, whilst under the influence of alcohol. 

According to reports, he touched the man’s hip to avoid impact or ‘spilling his drink’. 

Dubai Police visited the scene and arrested the man on charges of public indecency and drinking alcohol. 

He faces three years in prison.
