The Burj Khalifa Will Light Up With The Indian Flag Colours Both This Evening And Tomorrow
Emaar is celebrating India’s 68th Republic Day by illuminating the Burj Khalifa with the Indian flag colours this evening and tomorrow. With are over 2.2 million Indians living in Dubai this is a significant sign of the solidarity between the two countries.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince is currently on a three day trip to New Delhi
He will enjoy the celebrations of India’s Republic Day as chief guest along with a high-level delegations of ministers, senior officials and entrepreneurs.
The trip has been a keen move to strengthen relations from both sides and has resulted in a total of 14 agreements which include deals on defence and maritime cooperation.

This is not the first time the Burj Khalifa has lit up in celebration
The world’s tallest building has gone pink for breast cancer and changed to the colour of the Brussels flag in support of the victims of the Brussels airport attacks among others.

There will be three shows this evening, taking place at 6:15pm, 7:15pm and 8:15pm, and the same times again tomorrow evening.
