97 Children Have Just Been Given Emirati Citizenship
This month will be pretty special for some part-Emirati families.
The UAE Ministry of Interior confirmed that 97 children, born to Emirati mothers and non-Emirati fathers, were finally naturalized at a celebration organised by the UAE’s General Administration for Citizenship.
This was done following a decree from UAE’s President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan.
According to reports on Emarat Al-Youm, the UAE Ministry of Interior said the 97 met all requirements for citizenship to be granted.
