There’s Now A Climate Change Teacher At This Epic UAE School And It’s About Time
The very first climate change teacher in the UAE is officially here- and hopefully, this is just the beginning.
In a recent Facebook post by the GEMS FirstPoint School- The Villa, Candice Wright is the first Climate Change teacher from the UK who received her accreditation from the United Nations Climate Change Teacher Academy.
This programme teaches educated so that they’re well-informed on the facts, statistics and ways of making a change before educating children with it through a school’s curriculum.
Climate change is very much a dangerous thing, and it’s imperative that the youth are informed from an early age
After all, solutions can only come up from informed minds.
The climate change teacher’s modules will include classes of the following: Introduction to climate change science, cities and climate change, human health and climate change, gender and climate change and international legal regimes, according to The Khaleej Times.
