The UAE Is Taking Steps To Create MORE Rainfall Using Cloud Seeding

It’s no secret the UAE has undertaken cloud seeding missions to promote rainfall, but now further steps are being taken to increase rain in the emirates..

The UAE was one of the first countries in the Gulf to use cloud pollination technology, which used air radar that monitors the atmosphere of the country, however, a new method is now being tested accord to ARN.

The new strategy to entice rainfall is being tested in the northern and eastern Emirates, so Al Ain may soon experience more rainfall. Read about the National Centre of Meteorology’s strategy here.

New materials are being released into the clouds

Similar to the old method, tiny particles are released into clouds through flares shot from planes, however now specially-designed nanomaterials have been released, hoping to draw more condensation and therefore increase rainfall.
