CONFIRMED: Ramadan Dates Announced As The Moon Committee Met This Evening

Ramadan will begin on Thursday, according to the official moon-sighting committee. 

The committee met on Tuesday evening, and weren't able to see the crescent moon, so Ramadan will begin on Thursday, with Taraweeh prayers commencing on Wednesday, May 16. 

Public sector hours will be 9am-2pm, and private sector hours will be reduced by two hours from normal working times.
