Construction Noise In Dubai Marina Has Got So Bad It’s Keeping People Up At Night
There is plenty of construction happening around Dubai, with cranes, diggers, towers being built and developments being established, but some residents have gotten fed up with the noise.
Dubai Marina has many new developments, and is typically quite noisy with construction work, but it appears the work is happening throughout the night, and disrupting residents.
A Dubai Marina resident tweeted a video of the noise happening at 1am
How the hell are we supposed to sleep when construction and noise is being done after 1 AM. No respect for residents comfort @RTA_Dubai pic.twitter.com/e73kPuPtYg

The RTA was looped in, but clarified the works were not being done by the RTA, rather the Blue Water Island construction
Please coordinate with MERAAS company as this is not related to RTA projects,it is related to the blue water island construction

Regulations vary according to each emirate
Dubai Municipality noise should not exceed 55 decibels from 7am-8pm, and 45 decibels from 8pm-7am.
A construction site is traditionally around 100 decibels.
