On her eight attempt, the 30-year-old Arab lady decided to take things into her own hands and offered a Sharjah police official chocolates and an AED500 bribe to help her pass her test. It didn’t work out…

The official made a complaint and the woman was brought to Sharjah criminal court.
She was tried on Tuesday according to the Khaleej Times, and while she stated that the chocolate and cash were gifts, the complainant disagreed, stating in court that they were in fact bribes.
A verdict has not yet been reached.
